Can I bring my own dog to the sled dog experienece?
Unfortunately we cannot allow you to bring your own dog to the experience. Whilst we obviously love dogs, we need to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our dogs who have a job to do and may be distracted and your dog too who may find the experience very stressful. If you are interested in training your dog to be a sled dog then get in touch to arrange some private coaching.

Do you have a minimum age to participate?
Minimum age to participate is 6 years old, provided children are well behaved and able to follow our instructions.

Do you have a maximum age?
There's no Maximum age, we do require customers have a degree of physical fitness.

Do you have a weight limit?
Yes, our weight limit is 15 stone. There may be times when we can be flexible ie someone who plays high level sport ie Rugby etc. Please get in touch to discuss.

Do you get to run your own teams of sled dogs?
All customers will receive a safety briefing and undergo some training to be able to run with their own teams of sled dogs.

I don't want to run a team, can I be a passenger instead?
Our mushing experiences will give you the training needed and confidence to safely take charge of your own teams of sled dogs. For differently abled customers or customer who are unable to stand on the equipment etc we do have other options available. Please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements and create a bespoke package.

Where are you located?
We operate from a private remote woodland location within the National Forest. The nearest town Is Ashby de la Zouch.

Are you open all year round?
We are open year round, although we don't run dogs in high temperatures. If you want to visit in the summer we suggest you look at our meet and greet or husky hike experiences instead.

I can't see how to book a date for my mushing experienece on your website?
As we have to carefully manage the workloads of the dogs ie calculate weights, number of customers etc, we don't have a online diary. Please email or What's App us to arrange your experience.

Terms and conditions:

Our sled dog experiences are carefully managed for the safety and wellbeing of the dogs and our customers. We may at times need to make changes to the start or finish times of the experience for the welfare of the dogs. We do not permit the use of Alcohol or other recreational drugs, anyone believed to be under the influence of such will be told to leave and will not receive any refunds. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who we believe in breach of our rules and guidelines, if you have been refused entry or asked to leave by a volunteer you will not be entitled to any refund.

1.This gift certificate is not redeemable for cash.

2. This gift certificate is non-transferable and resale is prohibited.

3. If a gift certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission, a replacement will not be provided in these circumstances.

4. This gift certificate is not to be combined with other vouchers and is not valid with any other promotions and offers

5. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult

6. Must be under 15 stone to participate unless agreed in advance

7. Booking is required in advance for the experience, dates are subject to availability so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment

8. Experience must take place prior to expiry date. Vouchers may be extended at our discretion and will be subject to additional charges.

9.All participants must sign a waiver

10. Abuse of staff or dogs is strictly prohibited and anyone doing so will be refused entry and asked to leave.

In the event of cancellation by you, we do not issue refunds. We advise you to take out insurance against cancellation.
If, after your booking has been confirmed, you reduce your numbers of participants, the payment will be forfeited for any cancelled members. You must notify us in advance of an increase in numbers, we will endeavour to accommodate an increase wherever possible.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control; we reserve the right to make changes at any time to the adventures we offer, should this become necessary.
In the event of cancellation by us we will offer an alternative date or voucher (valid for one year). We do not offer refunds. We advise you to take out insurance against cancellation.
Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from purchase, unless stated otherwise. Gift Vouchers issued are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered for un-redeemed vouchers.
